Bridlington

If you’re looking for a leisurely day out, Bridlington has a wonderful Old Town.  With fascinating architecture and cultural history amongst new, modern shops and stylish galleries it is a hidden gem on the Yorkshire coastline.

Outside of the Old Town it has sandy beaches, award-winning promenades and an historic harbour with funfair, amusements and donkey rides on the beach for a family fun day out!

The Old Town has two main festivals throughout the year, the Summer and the Winter Festivals, and both give visitors the opportunity to explore the Old Town and experience a good old-fashioned, thriving Market Place. The Summer Festival provides a wealth of concerts, exhibitions and events to suit all. The Christmas festival provides a wonderful Dickensian feel to the Old Town area and is well worth taking time out to experience.

Filey

Voted ‘Best Beach’ in the North of England by the Sunday Times, June 2018

Filey has one of the most stunning award winning bays and beaches in England, and was recently voted ‘Best Beach’ in the North of England by the Sunday Times.  With a broad, sweeping smile of damp sand, book-ended by the crags of Filey Brigg and the vast, vertical drop of RSPB Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve where at certain times of the year you get to see Puffins and other sea birds.

The Edwardian town is elegant with a wonderful array of cafés, fish & chip shops, delis and nick naks amongst pretty gardens that lead down to a Prom hosting slot machines, doughnuts and crabsticks amongst fishing and sailing boats and beach huts…...a quintessential English seaside town.

The beach is vast with soft sand and plenty of room for making sandcastles, playing cricket or even taking a ride on a donkey.
