filey beach

Self Catering Holiday Accommodation In Filey, North Yorkshire

Voted ‘Best Beach’ in the North of England by

the Sunday Times, June 2018

Filey has one of the most stunning award winning bays and beaches in England, and was recently voted ‘Best Beach’ in the North of England by the Sunday Times.  With a broad, sweeping smile of damp sand, book-ended by the crags of Filey Brigg and the vast, vertical drop of Bempton cliffs.   The Edwardian town is elegant with a wonderful array of cafes, fish and chip shops, delis and nick naks amongst pretty gardens that lead down to a Prom hosting slot machines, doughnuts and crabsticks amongst fishing and sailing boats and beach huts…...a quintessential English seaside town.

The beach is vast with soft sand and plenty of room for making sandcastle, playing cricket and even taking a ride on a donkey.
